A vintage book themed wedding with two gorgeous brides.
We could write a book about how incredible this vintage, book-themed, Harry Potter inspired wedding was! But for now, we will stick to writing a blog. Tori and Lindsay met in college. It was Cara, Tori’s sister, who first recognized the spark between the two. Her prediction to Tori: “You’re in love, and you’re going to marry her.” Six years later, they were married here at Cross Creek Ranch.
We adore how these two brides incorporated their love of books into their wedding day. They flaunted their bookworm status through their cake, centerpieces and ceremony arch. They have a habit of reading together. Tori says that they “enjoy experiencing stories together because it gives them language to discuss their worldviews and feelings.”
They wed at the Enchanted Forest where we laid stacks of books along the sides of the rustic arch. After the exchanging of rings, they performed a wine box ceremony. Like good wine, a great love will deepen and mature with age.
Following the ceremony, the two newlyweds filled the rest of their wedding day with laughter and dancing. These two LOVE to laugh! They giggled their way through the best day of their life and we couldn’t be happier for them. Subtle Harry Potter inspired decor made their way into the reception. From their sweetheart table backdrop, flying key escort cards and pins given to the wedding party to wear. We must admit we are obsessing over every element of this wedding day.
