TIP #1

Hold your bouquet low. While it may not feel natural, it will look more natural. It helps to accentuate the look of your arms and torso.

TIP #2

Tilt your bouquet forward. You paid for the flowers, now show them off! Holding your bouquet lower and tilting it slightly forward will show off more blooms and fewer stems. It will feel weird but we promise it will look great in your photos.

TIP #3

Lock arms with who is walking you down the aisle. While one hand is holding your bouquet, the other can gracefully lock arms with the person walking you down the aisle. It will help ensure a smooth walk and both of you will start on the same foot.

TIP #4

Keep your shoulders back. This is a highly photographed moment, so your posture is super important! It’s easy to hunch over while carrying your bouquet, but remember to keep your chin up and stand tall.

TIP #5

Smile. This is a very exciting and happy moment! So you probably don’t have to be reminded to smile. However, just in case your nerves are getting to you, this is a good thing to keep in mind!

TIP #6

Walk at a normal pace, don’t speed down the aisle! Take your time, allow your photographer to get as many pictures as possible.

TIP #7

Don’t stress about your wedding party. That’s what wedding coordinators are for! They have the experience and ability to make sure your wedding party walks down the ceremony at the right time to the right song.

TIP #8

Enjoy the moment. If there is one tip we hope that you can walk away with, it’s this one. Enjoy the moment, enjoy the walk, and have fun. You’re getting married and that is what is most important!
