Ruby and Sapphire take center stage in this jewel toned wedding.
Sam + Clare’s jewel toned wedding not only showcases the stunning blend of a ruby and sapphire color palette but also reminds us once again that Love Wins now and forever.
The Love Story
Clare proposed to Sam when they were vacationing in St Augustine. Clare had set up a scavenger hunt (how cute and fun!) where they had to climb to the top of a lighthouse. Here, Sam opened the last note in the scavenger hunt and to her surprise it resulted in Clare popping the question!
The Attire:
Sam modeled a lace embellished cape with her Lo’Adoro a-line gown. This bridal style features all things ethereal, whimsical and romantic which compliments their wedding aesthetic perfectly. Clare wore a gorgeous burgundy suit with a floral printed dress shirt matching the ruby and sapphire color theme. Needless to say, these two beauties scored an A++ on their wedding day style.
The Ceremony:
We loved how this sweet duo chose to exchange vows in front of a book arch. This was Clare’s favorite arch by far!
They performed a handfasting ceremony which represents the binding of two people in love. As well as adding a pre-ceremony cleanse using a sage burning ritual. This tradition purges any bad vibes allowing the couple to start this next journey in life with positive energy.
The Design:
Sam + Clare had a very specific vision coming into the wedding design process. During the design meeting our team brought in lots of geometric elements and tied them in with bright jewel toned florals.
Sam + Clare based this design off of their favorite show Steven Universe. Hence the Ruby and Sapphire color palette you will find laced throughout their wedding day.
Some must have items were succulents, terrariums and of course stunning crystals. We incorporated each of these elements into the overall design, paying homage to the various characters this couple loves so much.
