Your wedding party members are more than honored to play such important roles on this crucial day of your life. However, they also want to make sure they fulfill their duties and that they are truly helpful for you as the bride and groom as well.

What are the wedding party’s duties, to be more exact? We have gathered some tips for you – so read on to find out more.

  • The parents usually help pay for the wedding (traditionally, only the bride’s parents were tasked with this, but these days the costs are often split or supported entirely by the couple). Furthermore, they help with the guest list, with accommodation and transportation arrangements, with researching ethnic traditions and venues, and so on. At the wedding, they stand in the receiving line, dance with the bride, groom, honor attendants and help the couple’s guests whenever they need it.
  • The Maid of Honor and Best Man are the closest “advisors” for the bride and for the groom. They not only help with the wedding planning process, hold the bouquet and the ring, and give toasts, but they also coordinate the other bridesmaids and groomsmen (in planning the wedding, attending tuxedo and dress appointments, and so on).
  • The Flower Girl and Ring Bearer are the youngest members of the entire wedding party – and, aside from carrying a basket of flowers (to announce the bride’s entrance) and carrying the pillow with the wedding rings, their main “task” at the wedding is to…just be their adorable selves!

Cross Creek Ranch is a superb rustic-chic wedding venue in Florida – so if you want to get married in the area, and if you want your Big Day to be inspired by the gorgeousness of nature and traditional charm, come visit us and book us for this important event in your life!
