Tell us a little bit more about the deciding factors that led you to book your day with us?

We loved the look and feel of the property. We really liked the indoor and outdoor space. The ceremony site was also phenomenal. Another thing that was a big plus was that it was all inclusive.

What was your inspiration for your wedding style and for the colors you picked out?

For our wedding we wanted to do a modern dreamy look with lots of greenery and candles and lights. We loved the gold, beige, green color palette. I think it was a very classic and timeless look.

How did you feel about your design meeting?

Although the design meeting was lengthy, we came out feeling so relieved. They had thought of so many aspects and details about the wedding that weren’t even on our radar. We were able to look through so many pictures and inspirations and pick out what we liked best. We came out feeling so overjoyed and ready for the big day.

How did you make the day feel personal to you?

We spent the morning with our bridal party. Jeffrey and his groomsmen made fun shirts with my picture on them so they could have me there in spirit. They also wore socks with my pictures on them for the ceremony and reception. I spent my morning with all my favorite girls in the bridal party. The girls wrote my handwritten letters that I got to read and relived all of my favorite memories with them. Jeffrey and I did a private first touch and read our wedding vows to each other- it was one of my favorite parts of the day.

What was your inspiration behind your wedding attire? What about your wedding party attire?

My dress was purchased from CC’s boutique. I had tried on so many different dresses throughout the process, but when I put mine on I knew it was the perfect one. Jeffrey went for a classic suit. Our bridal party wore colors that matched our theme and color scheme- the girls were in a beautiful green dress and the men had matching ties. All the boys got their suits from Men’s Wearhouse.

Where did you go to customize your wedding stationery?

Our save the dates were homemade! And our invites were ordered from Zola. We also made a photo book from MPix and used that as our guest book.

What was your favorite moment of the day?

Jeffreys favorite moment of the day was saying the “I Do’s” right before the rain poured down. He also loved the last dance because it made it feel like we were finally married and it was just me and him celebrating together. My favorite parts of the wedding were sitting at our sweetheart table watching all of our favorite people who came out to celebrate our special day laughing and having a great time.

What helped inspire you as you were planning your wedding?

Our inspirations came from a lot of online searching. We looked through many many different sites and blogs to see what we liked, what we didn’t like and our absolute must haves. We wanted to have our personalities shine and include some traditional things. For example, we did a Polish tradition where our moms blessed bread salt and alcohol. Having them both do that was very special for us.

Anything else you would like to mention about your wedding day?

Everything from our wedding day was phenomenal. People still talk about the food until this day! Alexis and our house mom were extremely attentive and helpful in every aspect imaginable. The DJ was so fun and personable. Everyone made us feel so calm and relaxed and took care of any little things that came up so we wouldn’t have to worry. Our photographer and harpist also did such an incredible job. If we could relive this day a million times, we absolutely would!
