Seasons greetings! December is finally here which means department stores will be decked out in holiday decor and your favorite radio station will be overtaken by Christmas music. More importantly for some couples this is also the month of their wedding. Cool weather, gorgeous color schemes and festive guest favors… yay for winter weddings! Speaking of guest favors, they are a great way to be festive and share some holiday cheer with your guests. Four favors have come to mind that are a perfect choice for a winter wedding and we just had to share!
Hot Chocolate mix in an ornament. Do different flavors so people have a selection.
Pine Cone (dipped in beeswax) Fire Starter. Cooler weather = bonfire weather.
Famous family soup recipe. Package dry ingredients and include the recipe.
Gingerbread cookies. Group 2 or 3 delicious homemade cookies in a cute package.
Making your guest favors should be fun, not stressful. Have a girls night with your bridesmaids and that will also help lessen the responsibility of doing it all yourself. It will be a great night for all (and you’ll complete a wedding task)!
