This Romantic Wedding at The Oak Hall was planned in just 3 weeks!
This ultra romantic wedding was the first one held at The Oak Hall upon the grand opening of the venue. So not only does this event hold a special place in our hearts, but it was also planned in just 3 weeks. When Cailyx + Nathan reached out to Cross Creek Ranch with their desired date, our team was determined to make it happen. With the best wedding vendors Tampa Bay has to offer and our incredible team working together, C + N’s special day was filled with romance, love and lots of stunning floral arrangements! The Love Story
The couple first met in high school. They didn’t begin dating until they went to Florida State University. You know what they say, timing is everything! Nathan finally popped the question on a vacation they took in August and in September they were married.
The Attire
Cailyx chose a sumptuous mermaid gown with a cascading, illusion lace train. She paired her bridal dress with an organic bouquet of quicksand roses and textured greenery. Nathan chose the classic black suit and bowtie which effortlessly complimented the modern romantic aesthetic of their wedding day.
The Ceremony
The couple chose a rustic romantic arch to frame their nuptials. An ancient oak tree served as a backdrop while soft-hued blooms and pampas grass adorned the arch and aisle.
The ceremony is always a great place to start when you are looking for ways to personalize your wedding day. C + N did just that. Instead of having a wedding party walk up the aisle and stand up at the alter, they chose to have it just the two of them and their officiant. Creating an intimate moment especially during their sand blending unity.
The Design
The floral palette consisted of white, cream and greenery with a pop of pale blush. The couple also wanted to incorporate a small touch of cream & blush pampas.
Inside the reception space, our hand-built farm tables displayed garlands of textured greenery and tall Brentwood stands festooned with the prettiest floral arrangements.
