In this day and age technology surrounds us with ever-changing phones (imagine if we still had pagers!), over-sized Super Ultra HD televisions, touch screen laptops, nifty Apple watches, and well… you get the point. Technology has come a long way over the last decade and it puts almost everything in the palm of our hands. It will play a large role in your wedding planning experience, which is why we have created a list of useful apps you may want to look into!
Veri
Okay, so this app is pretty ah-mazing! It automatically collects photos and videos from your guest’s phone without the hassle of uploading or tagging. Simply create an event, invite guests via phone number or email, and that’s that! Once your wedding starts, Veri shares with you the photos and videos that are captured by your guests. No need to stalk people’s profiles to find photos, they will all be in Veri waiting for you.
Joy
Like Veri, Joy has the sharing photo option but this app also allows you to create your own wedding website, keep track of RSVPs, add links to your registry, and more. All in one little app. Doesn’t that bring you “joy”?!
Mint
It is no surprise that weddings can be expensive; therefore, setting a budget is incredibly important. Mint is a handy app which brings together all your bank accounts, credit cards, bills, and investments so you can keep track of your spending and stick to your budget.
Evernote
Meet your new virtual personal assistant. Take notes, attach PDFs + Word Docs, organize invoices + receipts, sync with any device, keep track of appointments, and so on. Seriously, this app does it all. Evernote is not only amazing for wedding planning, but to also stay organized long after the “I Do’s”!
That was probably obvious considering so many engaged couples already gather their wedding day inspiration from here. If you do not have a Pinterest account, now is THE time to download it. Then thank us later. 😉 But listen – the trick is to only pin what ideas you truly want for your wedding. The goal is to stay organized, not overwhelm yourself. (Be sure to follow us on Pinterest!)
What “must-have” app(s) would you add to this list?
