Weddings can be costly, but they don’t have to break the bank. There are many ways to save on your wedding, but the trick is to actually stick to your budget! Indulge where you want and save where possible. We have come up with four ways for you to save on your wedding and we hope you find them helpful!

Choose all-inclusive! One of the many wonderful benefits of an “all-inclusive” venue is the fact that all your vendors and their services are included in one price. It makes it incredibly easy to manage finances throughout the wedding planning process.

Follow the “Rule of Three”. Pick three elements of your wedding which are must-haves (maybe your dream wedding gown, a horse-drawn carriage or a bonfire!) and save extra money to indulge in those. Next pick three elements that are not as important for you to have. Sticking with this will help you stay on track with your budget.

Trim your guest list. Oh yes, we know what you are thinking… “but if I don’t invite so-and-so that will create problems”. We have heard it all! If you haven’t talked with someone in years and don’t plan to in the near future, don’t feel guilty not inviting them. Decide if you will allow plus-ones and children – these two factors will impact your guest list and budget.

Use the shuttles provided by the hotel. This is a big money saver! If you book a block of rooms at a hotel, ask if they offer a complimentary shuttle ride to and from your wedding venue for you and your bridal party. Skip the fancy limo or party bus and you will save tons!!!
