Destination winter weddings in the sunshine state.

While our winters look quite a bit different than other states, it’s still the most wonderful time of year for weddings. If you are interested in having winter nuptials in Florida, then grab your mug of hot cocoa, cozy up in a warm blanket and check out our 4 reasons why you should go for it!

Reason #1 Your traveling guests

While the powdery white backdrop may seem like a dream come true, the winter weather can hinder your guests from traveling to you. Luckily here in the sunshine state, we haven’t seen flurries of snow in over 40 years.

Reason #2 You will not freeze your bum off!

Florida winters are often dry and mild with a little chill in the air. So, this is the PERFECT time of year to wear that super cute bridal jacket. We suggest the leather jackets for any of our boho babes or rock star brides out there. Or a faux fur shawl for a luxurious touch to your bridal style.

Reason #3 Your guests can still enjoy the bonfire

We can still smell the roasting marshmallows and melted chocolate from our previous winter weddings. Guests will love warming up next to a cozy outdoor fire.

Reason #4 Incorporating the holidays

There is something utterly romantic about winter decor. Think glittering metallics, seasonal foliage, moody emeralds, berry tones and sweater knit cakes!
