For a fall wedding, think rich colors, textured florals and sweet autumnal details.

It’s the beginning of September and we can almost smell the pumpkin spice, fall leaves, and bonfire s’mores. While we may experience the full feel of fall a little bit later than most, we still adore every bit of this gorgeous season. If you’re considering an autumnal celebration we’d recommend moving Tampa, Florida to the top of your list. Keep reading to see our four reasons why.

Fall is famously known for its seasonally-inspired décor. Our favorite on-trend colors for the fall season include burgundy, pumpkin, sage, and caramel. Branch forward installations and candlelit receptions ooze perfection.

The PERFECT weather. We are exiting out of the hurricane season, which means the possibility of rain dramatically decreases. The nights are cooler and the dog days of summer are coming to an end. When it is too cool for outdoor nuptials up North, head South to the sunshine state for a delightfully cozy, not-too-cold, wedding day.

Let’s talk about fashion. If you are thinking long sleeve wedding dresses and season-appropriate hues like jewel tones, then you are getting married at the right time! Keep in mind not only the colors but the texture as well. Lace, velvet or jacquard are all great options!

Primetime for the infamous “golden hour” photos. The sun begins to set earlier in the day, leaving you with the perfect sunset for those romantic sweetheart photos. We highly suggest you speak to your photographer about sneaking a few moments away from your guests during the golden hour. We promise you won’t regret it!
