In an odd sort of way, your save the dates may be a smidge more important than your actual wedding invites. Reason being because your save the dates set the tone for your entire wedding and capture your guests’ attention. This is also a great way to share your personality as a couple with your guests! Whether you are planning a traditional, modern, vintage, or rustic theme wedding there are so many wonderful ways to showcase your style through your save the dates.

Consider gifting your guests with a save the date that doubles as a cute trinket or delicious treat. Because really, who doesn’t love receiving something sweet?! If you decide to use an edible save the date, remember to package it accordingly. Or consider an item like personalized handkerchiefs that your guests can bring to your wedding (this also doubles as a nice wedding favor!).

What about the traditional fridge magnet with a non-traditional twist such as a wood carving or handpainted magnet? You like that idea? We do too! Or, are you and your soon-to-be sweetie a little on the cheesy side? (Hey! That is totally okay, we are all for it!) Send adorable “pencil us in” save the dates with a small pencil attached. Want to share a little sparkle? Label a bag of confetti with your names and date as a way to get the celebration started early!

You really can’t go wrong with your save the dates, so think outside the box and have fun with it! You’ll find pictured below some incredibly cute ideas mentioned above. 😉
