Something Borrowed, Something Blue...

10 Ways to Ask Your Bridesmaids

“Will you be my bridesmaid?”

The famous question many brides look forward to asking their closest friends, and the question many ladies anxiously wait for (second to “will you marry me?” – of course). Whoever you ask obviously holds a special place in your heart, so why not pop the question in a special way?

Consider your bridesmaids’ personalities, likes and dislikes when you are thinking of ways to pop the question. Are you asking a childhood friend to be in your bridal party? Are you planning to ask your sister to be your Maid of Honor? Maybe add a little extra for her, like a heartfelt card or a girl’s day at the nail salon.

Three of my personal favorites from below are the macaroons, wine glass and the box filled with spa goodies! Because what woman wouldn’t enjoy soaking in the tub with a bath bomb while sipping on wine and indulging in a tasty macaroon? Okay, back to the point . . .

This a great way to have a little fun before all the big wedding planning begins, and an even greater way to share with your ladies how much they mean to you. Your bridesmaids, especially your Matron/Maid of Honor, will be very helpful to you throughout the wedding planning and on your wedding day. No matter how you ask, a little token of appreciation will go a long way and make the moment memorable for both of you.

Happy bridesmaid proposal!
